Brisa Galeria presents its first partnership with UQ!, showcasing unique artist books by seven artists and the publisher's new release, 4CM, by Daniel Mattar.
Feb 20, 2019
Arriving from Rio de Janeiro, the art book publisher UQ! and Brisa Galeria celebrate the first partnership.
UQ! is a collection publisher. They are artists' books ("books -objects") with a unique characteristic: each copy constitutes a unique piece, an original.
All of UQ!'s works have the collaboration of dozens of printers, engravers or serigraphers, cabinetmakers, acrylic or steel artisans, handmade paper manufacturers, and framers. Prominent professionals in Portugal, Brazil and France, always under the editorial planning and graphic direction of Lucia Bertazzo and Leonel Kaz.
From 02/21 to 03/23 UQ! Occupies the Brisa Gallery, with an exhibition where visitors can explore, browse and discover each of the projects and presents its newest release, the 4CM book by artist Daniel Mattar.
The artists in this show: Pedro Cabrita Reis (PT), Luiz Zerbini (BR), Antonio Dias (BR), Daniel Mattar (BR), Roberto Magalhães (BR), Wanda Pimentel (BR), Ferreira Gullar(BR).
